PagerDuty Integration Guide

Overview
This guide walks through configuring the PagerDuty connector for Edge Delta AI Team. The integration enables AI teammates to query incidents, manage on-call schedules, and coordinate incident response.
Requirements
- PagerDuty account with permissions to create API tokens
- Edge Delta account with access to AI Team
Create a PagerDuty API Token
Recommended: Create a dedicated PagerDuty user for AI Team (e.g., “Edge Delta AI Team”) to track actions performed by AI teammates.
- Log in to your PagerDuty account
- Click your profile image and select My Profile
- Open the User Settings tab
- Click Create API User Token
- Enter a description (e.g., “Edge Delta AI Team”)
- Click Create Token
- Copy the API User Token
- Paste the token into the Edge Delta connector configuration
Configure the Connector in Edge Delta
- Log in to Edge Delta at
https://app.edgedelta.com/
- Navigate to AI Team > Connectors
- Find and click the PagerDuty connector
- Enter your PagerDuty Token
- Copy the Webhook URL displayed
- Click Save

Configure Webhooks in PagerDuty
Webhooks enable real-time incident notifications in Edge Delta.
- In PagerDuty, navigate to Integrations > Generic Webhooks (v3)
- Click New Webhook
- Paste the Webhook URL from Edge Delta into the Webhook URL field
- For Scope, select Account to receive events from all services (or choose specific services/teams)
- Enter a Description: “Edge Delta AI Team Webhook”
- For Event Subscription, leave All selected to receive all incident events
- Click Add Webhook
Verify the Integration
Test Webhook Delivery
- In PagerDuty, navigate to Integrations > Generic Webhooks (v3)
- Find the Edge Delta webhook and click Send Test Event
- Select a test event type (e.g.,
incident.triggered
) - Click Send Test
- In Edge Delta, check the #alerts-feeds channel for the test event
Test API Access
- In Edge Delta, navigate to AI Team
- Open a chat with an AI teammate that has PagerDuty enabled
- Ask: “Who is currently on-call?” or “List recent incidents”
- Verify the AI teammate retrieves PagerDuty data
Uninstall
Remove from Edge Delta
- Navigate to AI Team > Connectors
- Find the PagerDuty connector
- Click the menu icon (three dots)
- Select Disconnect
- Confirm the disconnection
Remove from PagerDuty
- Navigate to Integrations > Generic Webhooks (v3)
- Find and delete the Edge Delta webhook
- Navigate to Settings > API Access
- Find and delete the Edge Delta API key
